Virginia Golf Resorts

Virginia's popular golf resorts are inviting reprieves complete with beautiful vistas, comfortable accommodations and impeccable customer service.

In Williamsburg, Kingsmill Resort's immaculate courses define the resort as the region’s premier golf destination. Kingsmill features three world-class courses, including The River Course, which has been home to PGA and LPGA golf events for more than 30 years, plus a golf academy and an array of golf amenities.

Golden Horseshoe

Colonial Williamsburg’s championship Gold and Green Courses and executive-length Spotswood Course present demanding yet rewarding challenges to golfers of all skill levels. The par-71 Golden Horseshoe Gold Course, created by master golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr., is a classic in the style of golf architecture.

The Tides Inn on the Chesapeake Bay is the home of the famous and challenging Golden Eagle Golf Club. For over 25 years, the Golden Eagle has distinguished itself by hosting numerous Virginia State golf Association events. On the main grounds of the Tides Inn rests our complimentary nine hole Par-3 course. With open fairways, the Par-3 course is a great track for young families, senior golfers and those who want to brush up on their short game before visiting the Golden Eagle Golf Club.

The Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer designed Signature Courses at Bay Creek Resort on the Eastern Shore were voted 12th in the U.S. by readers of Golf World Magazine in 2010. Both courses have expansive views of the Chesapeake Bay and rich landscaping and gardens sprinkled throughout, in addition to challenging golf for players of all levels.

Keswick Hall & Golf Club is your destination for golf and leisure in the Charlottesville area. The award-winning Full Cry course offers 18 holes of challenging play while surrounded by tall ancient oaks, grassy wetlands and spectacular mountain views. In addition to golf, Keswick Golf Club offers tennis, swimming, croquet, a luxurious spa, and fully-equipped fitness center.

Robert Trent Jones Jr Golf Course

High in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains lies Wintergreen Resort offering two distinctly different golf experiences. Devils Knob is the highest course in Virginia at nearly 4,000 feet and is known for cool summer temperatures and outstanding conditions. Golf year round in the valley on the nationally ranked Stoney Creek Golf Course featuring immaculate fairways with panoramic views of the mountains.

Lansdowne Resort, DC Wine Country's premier, full-service resort is located eight miles from Washington Dulles International airport and 30 miles from Washington, DC., in scenic and historic Loudoun County. The Golf Club at Lansdowne is home to 45-holes of championship golf designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and Greg Norman.

Bryce Resort in Basye is a four-season resort that includes an 18-hole, par 71 championship course. With stunning mountain views and a lazy little creek winding its way through the course, you'll love your day on the links.

Home of the nation’s oldest first tee in continuous use, the Omni Homestead in Hot Springs offers some of the country’s most challenging and historic fairways. The Old Course, completed it 1892, has challenged Presidents William Howard Taft, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and George H. W. Bush. Set against the backdrop of Virginia’s breathtaking Allegheny Mountains, The Cascades offers challenging links played by Sam Snead at the onset of his career.

Golf

In the Blue Ridge Highlands you'll find Olde Mill Golf Resort and its Ellis Maples designed championship course. It's widely hailed as one of the best mountain golf courses in the eastern United States.

Primland Resort in Meadows of Dan is another mountain course - one that plays across ridge tops and over valleys with unprecedented scenery. The Highlands Course was ranked number two on Golf Magazine's list of Best Golf Courses You Can Play in Virginia, 2016-2017.

Love a rocky challenge? Rock Harbor Golf Course in Winchester delivers just that. The elevation variance paired with the abundance of rocks, water and orchards make for a day on the greens you won't soon forget.

Set against the Blue Ridge Mountains in the rolling Shenandoah Valley, Shenvalee Golf Resort in New Market has grown from a single 9-hole course unveiled by Bobby Jones in 1927 to the three 9-hole courses you'll find today.

Golf

Spectacular Blue Ridge views, invigorating vistas, and 18 holes of challenging golf… It is easy to see why Birdwood Golf Course at The Boar’s Head is a highly acclaimed course. Birdwood is closed for renovations until spring 2020.
