The bar, dining room, and event space occupy the first floor of the 1906 Elk's Lodge, in the area of Historic Smithfield known as Wharf Hill. All of the interior woodwork is from 1906 or earlier -- salvaged materials sourced from a two-room 1900 school house, an 1891 tenement building, the 1840 Spady House, and a four-story Victorian hotel demolished 40 years ago.
A truly unique atmosphere, where the building has as much personality as the staff.
