Monticello Appellation Wine Tours (formerly Arcady Vineyard Wine Tours), the oldest owner-operating wine tour in Charlottesville offers wine tours for 2-6 guests per tour. Tours pick up in the Charlottesville area.
Tours pick up at 1pm and end at 5pm. Guests are back to their pick up location between 5-5:30-pm
Standard with all tours: personal itinerary, tour guide/driver to escorts guests through tastings, plenty of bottled water.
Not included: tasting fees. Wineries do not allow tour companies to pay tasting fees. They range from $10 to $12 per person. Wineries accept major credit cards.
Three tours are offered:
Cheese Plate Tour - daily - tour 3 wineries. At the second winery guests enjoy a deluxe local cheese, chocolate and fruit plate. $145 per person
Food Pairing Tour Thursdays and Fridays during the busy season Spring through Fall. Offered daily during the off season December/January Tour three wineries, with food pairings with tastings. $150 per person
Lunch Tour - offered Sunday thru Friday. Tour 3 wineries with lunch at the second winery. $165 per person
