BrightEyes Alpaca Retreat just outside of Farmville, Virginia is indeed a retreat for our alpacas, livestock guardian dogs and us! We are an alpaca farm set up as an agritourism facility that hosts individuals, groups and organizations seeking a different type of educational experience.

We are continually updating our educational opportunities for families, friends schools, groups, and organizations. We can arrange for a broad educational tour or detail specific aspects of the farm – alpacas, fiber, barn, pasture and livestock guardian animals.
In addition to the alpaca farm, we offer lodging on site with a separate apartment above a detached garage for rent. The apartment includes a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area, sitting area, and bedroom with a queen bed. Enjoy a view of our alpacas grazing in the pasture, while enjoying a quiet stay in the Farmville countryside!
