Prince George County has four sports complexes with easy access from Route I - 295, just south of Richmond. The largest sports complex, JEJ Moore Athletic Complex, is located on 52 acres with walking trails, four fields for baseball and softball, one field for soccer, football and field hockey and 200 paved parking spaces. When you bring your team here, you can enjoy all-natural playing surfaces. The fields are irrigated and lighted. Baseball/softball fields have fenced and covered dugouts, three batting cages and electronic scoreboards. Family and fans can watch the games from bleachers, which seat 600, set up their lawn chairs or spread their blankets on the adjoining grassy area. Snacks are offered at a concession stand with tables and rest rooms. There are 600 hotel rooms and 267 restaurants within a 30-minute drive from the sports complex.
Prince George County, located in south-central Virginia, has been discovered by youth sports teams. The County is hosting four youth travel league baseball and softball tournaments in March – June 2015 and has been chosen to host the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) 14u Eastern Nationals July 31-Agust 4, 2016.
