Our property is listed on the National and State Historic Register and was originally built in 1860. Today, in this Town of Louisa landmark, we see the 1918 renovations elegantly restored in 2008. The Main House has 5 bedrooms, 3 with private baths, dining room, 2 parlors and the beautiful white column porches. In addition, the large open deck overlooks the 1 acre gardens area and has generous seating. The Cabin suite located 25 steps from the main house has its own private deck and entry as well as a full kitchen, bath and washer dryer. Guests can walk to Downtown Louisa for restaurants and shops and continue on a walking tour of the Courthouse Square, Louisa Art Center and the Louisa County Historical Society Sargeant Museum. Our property is located within a 15-25 minute drive of wineries, breweries and cideries surrounded by breathtaking rural landscapes and farms. Our Inn is located between Charlottesville and Richmond just off I 64 and many guests take side trips to Madison's Montpelier, Jefferson's Monticello, and Museums and restaurants in Richmond. Lake Anna is 25 minutes away for boating and fishing, or just beautiful byway drives. We are open all year round . Come visit!
