The James River Association is a non-profit, member supported organization whose mission is to be guardian of the James River, to provide a voice for the river and to take action to promote conservation and responsible stewardship of its natural resources. JRA works with citizens throughout the 340-mile length of the James River and its 15,000 miles of tributaries to help them enjoy and protect America’s Founding River. Through educational programs, events and volunteer opportunities, people of all ages can help stop pollution and support the mission of JRA.
