If you loved "The Dukes of Hazzard", you will love a visit to Cooter's in the Valley (Luray), the newest location of the popular Cooter's franchises. Long a "must-see" destination in Gatlinburg and Nashville, Tennessee, Cooter's is a tribute to the beloved television series. It features a "Dukes" shop, a museum filled with memorabilia from the show, and Daisy's Dixie Diner.
The museum includes props, costumes, backstage photos, and several vehicles from the series, including the General Lee Dodge Charger, Boss Hogg's Cadillac and Cooter's tow truck. The store also features live musical events and regular visits from "Dukes" cast members.
Live entertainment is featured almost every Saturday and Ben Jones aka "Cooter" performs with the Cooter's Garage Band.
Enjoy two days of live entertainment at the Good Ol' Boys Fest on August 10 & 11 featuring Cooter’s Garage Band, Confederate Railroad, Wynonna Judd and The Big Noise, Tom Wopat, Whey Jennings and the Dukes Cast, General Lee rides and more!
Cooter's in the Valley is owned and operated by Ben Jones and his wife, Alma Viator.
