Mia's Italian Kitchen is an upscale-casual Italian restaurant near the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria. Featuring stylish, eclectic decor, Mia's is an inviting spot to enjoy a drink at the bar, a slice of pizza, a hearty Italian dinner, or a leisurely family-style weekend brunch.
The menu at Mia’s was a collaboration between Corporate Executive Chef Graham Duncan and Partner Dave Nicholas to capture the essence of his great-grandmother’s rustic Italian cooking. Originally from Naples, Italy, she used easy, simple, raw ingredients - an approach that Mia's embraces in our menu, which includes house-made pasta, Italian sandwiches, charcuterie, and square pizzas (also available by the slice).
Mia’s Italian Kitchen is a unique venue for private events up to 175 guests. The restaurant offers two levels of elegantly appointed interiors with flexible layout options. The first floor boasts a lively bar and a pizza station from which our amazing and unique square pizzas are made. The second floor features a sofa lounge, a Chef’s table and kitchen-front bar height seating. Our dedicated, professional event coordinator will work with you from start to finish to ensure that your event is one to remember!
