This magical holiday evening begins with the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the former Smithfield Times Gazebo featuring music by local choruses and the official tree lighting followed by light refreshments of cookies and hot chocolate. Shops will stay open until 8:00 p.m. so visitors can vote for their favorite light display and be sure to stop by the Isle of Wight Museum to meet Old St. Nick himself between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. as well as stroll the illuminated Hayden's Lane.
